In reply of one of the poor... read more comments, the hotel asked that fellow to spend little more to get deluxe services.I accepted the offer and booked a deluxe room three months before.It was really a great room. We reached the hotel in the morning. Hotel allowed us to check in some other room. They shifted us to room no 201 on time,perhaps one of the best room to stay in Haridwar,until one faces any accident. My wife got hurt in her hand while chasing a monkey inside the room only.The management could not provide simple ice that day.Water speed is feeble in the tap.Plumber's work is not perfect in the toilet.We faced a serious water problem in the last morning.Nobody helped us out. Their attitude is you are given a nice room to stay,so be happy.Actually we were happy otherwise with this spacious room attached with a marvelous balcony from where one can visit Ganga Maa throughout the stay.

  Best budget stay in Haridwar - It may sound strange but we decided to spend our 9th marriage anniversary taking a dip in holy ganga and immersing ourselves in the warmth of Haridwar. Bridge Lodge is... read more the best place to stay if you are prepared for the truly immersive ganga experience. It balances convenience and luxury. We stayed in a superdelux room with private balcony. The management is very polite and helpful. They try to help as much as possible. The hotel is right on the Ganga ghat and Har Ki Pauri is just 4-5 mins of walk away. The view from the balcony is the best! We wanted to just relax and soak in the spirituality the city has to offer. The lodge made it possible since it has good access to both the ghat and the upper road. The lodge doesnt provide food but give you cutlery if you order from outside. We ordered once on Zomato (there is food delivery here) and next time got food packed from a very famous eatery in the market. The lodge does not have an onsite parking but paid parking at Deen Dayal Parking lot is extremely safe and secure. The parking space is just 10mins walk away from the hotel. You can see the sunrise from the hotel balcony, hear ganga arati (not see it though) and watch people as they come to celebrate their faith. You can experience the colorful life on the ghats sitting right in the balcony. The rooms are clean and decent, bed linens are soft and clean, bathroom has a good, workable water geaser. We could just walk to Har Ki Pauri, take a dip and walk back in wet clothes because the hotel is so near. It was a great experience and I highly recommend this lodge.

Tip - After booking your stay online, you should always call the management to confirm and also ask them for the kind of room you want. They are very helpful and most of the time, they try to provide the kind of room you expect.
